TERMS & CONDITIONS - THE BASICS

1. Quotes & Pricing​

• Quotes are valid for 14 days.

• Prices may change if the job conditions differ from what was initially discussed.

• Any changes (variations) will be confirmed in writing before we continue.

2. Booking & Deposits

• A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

• Deposits may be forfeited if you cancel within 7 days of the start date.

3. What Customers Need To Do To meet NSW safety and trade rules:

• Provide clear access to the work area.

• Remove all furniture and personal items from the space.

• Make sure power and lighting are available.

• Keep children and pets away from the work area.

4. Dust, Noise & Odours

• Dust‑free machines reduce dust but some dust is unavoidable.

• Sanding is noisy.

• Coatings have odours and need good ventilation.

5. Natural Variations
Timber is a natural product. You may notice:

• Colour differences

• Grain variations

• Slight sheen differences

• Patchiness from old repairs or coatings

These are normal and not considered defects.
6. Curing Times
Typical guidelines:

• Walk on floors: 12–24 hours

• Move furniture: 48–72 hours

• Rugs: 7 days minimum

Avoid dragging items and use felt pads under furniture.
7. Warranty

• We offer a  workmanship warranty.

• Your statutory rights under ACL always apply.

• Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, spills, pets, moisture, dragging items, or harsh chemicals.

8. Payment Terms

• Full payment is due on the day of completion unless agreed otherwise.

• Late payments may incur additional fees.

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations within 48 hours may incur fees.

• We may reschedule due to weather, product supply issues, or safety reasons.

10. Photos & Media
We may take photos or short videos of the work for showcases.

• No personal info or faces will be used.

• You can opt out anytime by telling us.

By accepting our quote or booking your job, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
